Two non-renewable resources for mankind are:
- Fossil fuels: Fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas are non-renewable resources that are formed from the remains of dead plants and animals. They are limited in supply and take millions of years to form. Fossil fuels are used to generate electricity, power transportation, and heat homes and businesses.
- Minerals: Minerals are non-renewable resources that are found in the earth’s crust. They are used to make a wide range of products such as electronics, building materials, and vehicles. Some examples of non-renewable minerals include gold, silver, copper, and iron. Once these minerals are extracted and used, they cannot be replaced.
