SSC Multitasking Examination (SSC MTS Exam)

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Multitasking Examination (MTS Exam) for the recruitment of eligible candidates to the posts of Multitasking Staff in various government offices.

Pattern of SSC Multitasking Examination

The examination is conducted in two phases:

Phase I: This phase consists of a written examination, which is a screening test. The written examination is conducted in one paper:

Paper I: General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Ability, English Language, and General Awareness.

Phase II: This phase consists of an interview. The interview is conducted to assess the candidate’s personality, suitability, and communication skills.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to appear for the SSC MTS Examination, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

  • They must be Indian citizens.
  • They must have passed the 10th standard examination from a recognized board.
  • They must have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the 10th standard examination.
  • They must be physically fit.

Application Process

The application process for the SSC MTS Examination is conducted online. Candidates can apply for the examination through the SSC website. The application process begins in the month of June and ends in the month of July.

Fees

The application fee for the SSC MTS Examination is Rs. 100 for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 25 for SC/ST candidates.

Syllabus

The syllabus for the SSC MTS Examination is as follows:

General Intelligence and Reasoning: This section will test the candidate’s ability to understand and apply logical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Numerical Ability: This section will test the candidate’s ability to solve numerical problems, including those involving fractions, decimals, percentages, and ratios.

English Language: This section will test the candidate’s ability to understand and use the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.

General Awareness: This section will test the candidate’s knowledge of current affairs, general science, history, geography, and other general topics.
