The UPSC CSE Prelims Paper-I was successfully conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on May 28, 2023. General Studies (GS Paper 1) took place nationwide from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at various examination centers.

UPSC Prelims Answer Key 2023

The UPSC Prelims Paper-II (CSAT) will be held from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. In the meantime, students, teachers, and parents can access the GS Paper-1 exam analysis. According to initial student reactions, the General Studies paper was deemed moderate. Candidates also anticipate an increase in this year’s Prelims cutoff.

The UPSC CSE Paper-I consisted of 100 questions, totaling 200 marks. Candidates were given a full 2 hours to complete the GS Paper-1. It is important to note that the General Studies Paper will be taken into consideration for the Prelims cutoff.
